Frank VanderSloot Receives Horatio Alger Award by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas

This weekend, Melaleuca CEO Frank VanderSloot was presented the Horatio Alger Award by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in the Chamber of the United States Supreme Court. VanderSloot was also inducted as a lifetime member into the prestigious Horatio Alger Association. He was selected because of his contribution to free enterprise and helping people reach the American Dream.

Former recipients of this award are Ronald Reagan, Buzz Aldrin, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Brokaw, Dwight Eisenhower, Herbert Hoover, Tom Landry, Ray Kroc, Lou Dobbs, and Tom Selleck.

Melaleuca is impressed with the Association's remarkable accomplishments of providing over $110 million in need-based college scholarships, helping 22,000 young Americans achieve the dream of a college education.

VanderSloot joined eleven other accomplished business and civic leaders from across North America in receiving the award this year.
